Drunken Mothers

So, on Thursday, I had to go sing the National Anthem with the choir at the football game at Arbor View. I had called my mom a couple days before that to insure that I got a ride to and from school that day. She promised to me that she will take me and pick me up after the anthem was over.

So I'm at her apartment around 3 o'clock P.M. I'm just sitting, waiting for it to be a half hour until 7. So I decide to take a nap to kill time. I wake up to the sound of the front door opening, my bird squawking, and my mother wobbling to her room.

She was drunk

As she was stumbling to her room, she tells me that I had to find another ride to school and back. I told her that she promised me that she would take me. She said, 'That's too bad.'

So I told her, 'Whatever, don't take me.' And I layed back down. When I did, she started to lock the front door and set the alarm. I told her that I still had to be taken home. She said, 'Why can't you just take the bus to school from here.'

I told her, 'I have no fresh clothes, no backpack, no hair straightener, no alarm to wake me up.' She would not get that through her head. She kept on repeating that same question over and over and over again. Until she said, 'Then start walking home.'

So I did.

I barged out the door, and walked all the way to my dad's house. It was pitch black out and I could barely see where I was going. So I turned on my Owl City playlist on my iPod and sang the whole way home. By the time I had finally gotten home, it was almost 10 o'clock PM. I had left at nearly 7. My feet were sore, my legs were tired, my stomach hurt, I was dehydrated. I collapsed on my bed. I had walked over 6 miles.

I realized alot of things during that walk.
One of them is to never give up.

Save The CHEERLEADER

Okay so today after school, me and a bunch of my friends signed up for the Powder Puff cheerleading team.

It will be soooooo much fun. This year, we have alot more guys on the team. I'm a new recruit, my best friend Bryan is also. And a few other guys.

I am trying to get as many people as possible to get the performances on camera. I'm so excited. We get to wear skirts and V-Neck tee shirts.

Out With The Old, In With The New

I know I promised that I'd write here at least once a day. But I have been such a busy bee since school started. So far, I love all my classes, because I know nearly everyone in it. My favorite is Show Choir. My choir teacher, Dr. Kruger says that I am a really good tenor vocalist and wants me to join the Men's Madrigals as a tenor.

I was pretty excited because I haven't had such a great compliment on my singing before, other than my family. So I felt joyful.

Also I have a new best friend. He is alot more fun and trustworthy than my other 'best friend'. So that also is new.

And If you are following me on here and on my music myspace, then you may have noticed that I haven't uploaded a new song. That is because my laptop's flash player refuses to update, and I need it to use the uploader. So I am trying my best to find a way to make this work.

I changed my style a little bit in my music. I have added acoustic guitar and piano to my songs as well as the synth and the dance style too. I made an acoustic song, and I want to upload it, but like I said before, the flash player likes to play dead.

Okie dokie, it's getting late now. I best be going. I will try my best to post as much as I can.

Thank you to the few people who like my music =P
